Manchester is all about the dark beers this year! In a hotly contested competition, judged by the votes of festival goers, the winner's podium was dominated by stouts and porters. Would the results have been different if the Manchester Beer & Cider Festival was held in August? We'll never know.

We're delighted that our collaboration with Sheffield's Lost Industry Brewing, our 8.5% Tiramisu Imperial Stout, was voted joint third place, alongside North Riding Brewery's Fudge Brownie Stout. Taking seconds place was the indomitable Tiny Rebel, with their salted caramel version of the fantastically popular Stay Puft. And in the top spot the wonderful Bad Kitty from Brass Castle.

Navigation Brewery is delighted to have found a place on the podium amongst such illustrious company. Debuted at the Nottingham Robin Hood Beer & Cider Festival in 2019, cold-steeped coffee, organic Peruvian cocoa nibs and Madagascan vanilla combine in this big hitting imperial dessert stout. The big flavour hit comes courtesy of our friends at Lee & Fletcher Coffee, Nottingham.
